## 1 — How we are funded

30+/SKIN is funded by affiliate commission. When you follow a link from a review to a retailer and buy something, the retailer may pay us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price either way.

We do not sell the products we review. We do not manufacture them. We hold no stock and take no orders.

## 2 — What commission does not buy

- It does not buy a place in the register. Products are selected editorially before any commercial relationship is considered.
- It does not buy a score. Scoring is completed and signed off before affiliate links are attached.
- It does not buy a favourable position in a ranking. Rankings are ordered by score alone.
- It does not buy removal of a negative finding. Nothing is unpublished at a brand's request.

## 3 — How to identify a commercial link

Every link that may earn commission is marked in the interface and carries `rel="sponsored nofollow"` in the markup. Links to research, regulators and manufacturers' own ingredient documentation are never commercial and are not marked.

## 4 — Gifted product and press samples

Our default is to buy at retail with our own money. Where a product is supplied free by a brand or its agency, that fact is printed at the top of the review, permanently, and is not removed on later revisions.

Accepting a sample never carries an obligation to publish, to publish by a date, or to share copy before publication.

## 5 — Paid content

If a sponsored or paid placement is ever published it will be labelled as advertising in the headline, excluded from all rankings, excluded from the register, and given no score. At the time of writing, no paid or sponsored content has been published on this site.

## 6 — Jurisdictional notices

This disclosure is intended to satisfy the disclosure obligations applying in the United States, including the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).
