Mechanism
EVIDENCE GRADE A
Structural lipid of the mortar phase. Delivered at the physiological 3:1:1 ratio with cholesterol and free fatty acid, it incorporates into lamellar sheets rather than sitting on top of them.
HOUSE NOTES
- Ceramide alone, out of ratio, can measurably slow barrier recovery. The 3:1:1 is the active ingredient.
