RedBox makes the quantity and billing interval unusually legible: its listed offer is one 45 g tube for $60 every three months. That is a usable price reference, subject to the prescription and checkout terms.
The listed $25 consultation rises to $69 if another pharmacy is used. Compare the complete route rather than treating the visit discount as independent of dispensing. We have not tested the delivered product or service.
- States the 45 g quantity and $60 charge rather than only a monthly equivalent.
- Discloses the higher consultation fee for an outside pharmacy.
- Offers a manufactured cream route without a separate membership fee.
- The $20 figure is a monthly equivalent, not the amount billed for one shipment.
- Using a different pharmacy changes the consultation price.
- A nominal three-month supply is not a measured application duration for every patient.

The bill in ordinary numbers
For the advertised RedBox dispensing route, $60 for the cream plus a $25 consultation is $85 initially. That arithmetic describes the cited offer, not an annual cost forecast or a promise that every proposed treatment costs the same. The product FAQ also gives a broader $20–$35 monthly range by plan, so check that your selected offer matches the quoted quantity.
A pharmacy choice with a price consequence
The service page explains that the lower consultation price depends on selecting RedBox's pharmacy. An outside-pharmacy prescription carries a $69 consultation fee. That may still be worth comparing if your local pharmacy or insurance offers a favorable medicine price, but the two consultation fees belong in separate columns.
A useful comparison holds the medicine constant: same strength, same vehicle, same grams. Do not set a cream price beside a lotion price and conclude that the cheaper route is equivalent. A dispenser's promotion also cannot establish what another company's current offer costs; this review uses RedBox's pages only for RedBox's terms.
What approval does and does not mean
The service describes a manufactured medication. Ask the pharmacy to identify the actual product and provide its patient information. An approved drug is approved for particular uses on its label; the existence of an anti-aging service page does not make every advertised cosmetic use an approved indication for every tretinoin product. Our Renova review is a useful label-specific comparison.
The value question remains personal
A known tube weight helps compare offers. It does not tell us how much medicine you will apply, how much remains at expiry, or how often your plan needs review. Those uncertainties are why cost per application, tolerance and texture remain unscored. The positive finding here is published purchasing detail.
