Why the price field says visit quote
Walgreens' help page lists a general $33–$79 range across visit types and directs patients to choose the treatment area for the applicable fee. Publishing the lowest figure as the cost of tretinoin care would lose that qualification. Medication is charged separately. Obtain the actual skin-visit price, then the pharmacy price, before making a cost comparison.
The same help page says visits do not currently accept insurance, although an eligible prescription may use it at the pharmacy. It also limits prior-authorization support. That distinction can matter more than a modest difference in consultation price when a plan requires paperwork before covering a medicine.
Form matters as much as percentage
The product overview lists tretinoin cream, gel and lotion. Ask for the full name of the proposed prescription, not just its percentage. The register's Altreno and Retin-A Micro reviews show why a named dosage form needs its own evidence record. A service offering access to several products has not demonstrated that one is best for your skin.
